William Flint - Flint Architecture

William Flint RIBA established Flint Architecture with the aim of focusing both on bespoke contemporary design and conservation architecture. He believes in a collaborative sustainable design approach, with the client’s requirements at the core; creating imaginative, stimulating and functional spaces. 

Having worked in London and internationally, William has over 15 years professional experience in architecture, project management and practice leadership. His design background is primarily high-end residential and education projects in the UK, Europe and Southern Africa. He has completed conservation projects on listed buildings, prestigious single-residential houses in London conservation areas, a large international school in Mozambique, and several large multi-residential projects in Southern Africa.

He has extensive experience in the design and delivery of projects from concept to completion; including full project and construction management, working closely with Planning Authorities and Conservation Officers as well as consultants and contractors. 

Before establishing Flint Architecture, William was an Associate at Eldridge Smerin Architects in London and Partner and Director at COA Architects in South Africa, where he led their Durban-based studio of 15 professional architectural staff. 

William holds Chartered membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the South African Council for the Architectural Profession, with first class Masters Degrees from the University of Edinburgh and Professional Diploma from Kingston University.
